RNAC 2025 Submissions Portal

The Submissions Portal is your gateway to participate in the 8th Biennial Rex Nettleford Arts Conference (RNAC 2025). Whether you’re presenting a paper, creative performance, exhibition, or workshop, this portal ensures your work is reviewed and considered for inclusion in the Conference programme.

All submissions are reviewed by the RNAC 2025 Academic Committee. Please read the guidelines carefully before uploading your materials.

Who Can Submit
  • Academics and researchers in arts, culture, and humanities
  • Practitioners (artists, performers, cultural workers)
  • Current students?
  • Graduate and postgraduate students
  • Community-based organisations and cultural collectives
What You Can Submit
  • Abstracts for academic papers
  • Proposals for panels or workshops
  • Creative works (performances, exhibitions, installations, screenings etc.)
  • Poster presentations
Submission Guidelines
  • Abstract length: 250–300 words
  • Full paper length (if requested): 5,000–7,000 words
  • File formats accepted: PDF, Word (.docx), MP4 (for creative excerpts)
  • Include: title, author(s), institutional affiliation, and 5 keywords
  • Submissions must align with the conference theme: “Inward Stretch, Outward Reach – Arts, Culture and the (Re)Imagining of Our Humanism.”

How do I update or withdraw my submission?

For updates, the timeline has now passed. Participants would have had the opportunity to resubmit and indicate that it supersedes the previous submission. To withdraw your submission, just indicate your decision to the secretariat via the conference email.

Will I get feedback if not accepted?

Definitely. All submissions receive a response.

Do I need to register after my submission is accepted?

Yes. This is necessary to complete the payment process.
